Before enjoying the fresh flavours of an oyster it must first be prized opened with great skill & care. This ‘shucking’ process is something we go through many times a day here at White Horse & for our next event we want to show you exactly how it’s done.

On Wednesday 31st October 7pm we are delighted to host an Oyster & Wine pairing with local oyster expert Charlie Magee. Charlie will show you how to shuck the perfect oyster & you'll then have the opportunity to have a go yourself. Our full range of oyster styles (natural, pickled, tempura & grilled) will then be enjoyed alongside carefully selected White Horse wines.

Each week at White Horse we host weekly events & offers where you can enjoy our freshest seafood sharing plates & oysters whilst making a saving. Monday & Tuesday is Corkage Club where you can bring your own wine or champagne for a small £5 fee. For your oyster fix be sure to take advantage of our Buck-A-Shuck Oyster Happy Hour where our delicious range of Carlingford, Lindisfarne, Caledonian & Loch Fyne are only £1 each, Monday - Thursday, 4-6pm.
